Young actors ages 7-16 are invited to audition for two new musicals by the Pipia sisters, produced by local theater company Generation Goat Rocket. Auditions take place from 1 to 3 p.m., on two Saturdays, June 6 and June 13. Actors may attend either audition.

Written by sisters Phina and Sophie Pipia, each production is rehearsed over the course of a one-week theater intensive at the Chameleon Theater and includes elements of song, dance and theater.

Both intensives are free to local youth. The first takes place Aug. 9-14, with performances Aug. 14-16. The second takes place Aug. 17-21, with performances Aug. 21-23. Young actors may audition for either production.

The Pipia sisters lead both intensives, and each production features an original script, score and choreography.

Auditions take place at the Chameleon Theater, 800 W. Park Ave.
